I am a Producer on the Royal Flush Festival and after months of work the event is finally happening this very week (Oct.15-19). Its a festival celebrating underground art, film, and music. We have film premiers, q&A sessions with artists and directors, we have parties, and punk rock concerts. All takes place in the East Village. We have screenings of a new Henry Rollins Film, Ron English Film, American Rock Poster Art Doc and much moe.

PS… we are still looking for some last minute volunteers, so if you are interested in giving us a day or two during the festival (OCt 15-19) then I can hook you up with free tickets to parties, screenings, and hot dog eating contests. (there are no hot dog eating contests associated with this festival)
