The Contest(s)

The Apiary ran a contest back in June.

*We’re big opponents of effort here, so let’s keep it simple. Anyone into contests? Here is your inspiration: below is a photo of a feral Louis C.K. adrift in a lush meadow, harnessing the power of a dog in a slinky t-shirt.

Please use this blank t-shirt template to describe what is likely written on the dog’s shirt. Send in your completed jpg to theapiary@gmail.com. The most amusing t-shirts will win a copy of Shameless, which is available in stores everywhere!

Well, they must not have got many submissions…. because me and some other guy won! (mine is the smelly asshole… ) In addition to the contest being posted on The Apiary’s fine website, it was also publicized on the Comedy Central Insider’s Website (see for yourself here).

I didn’t win a brand new car or a years supply of taco shells, where was I, hmm, oh yeah, I won a new Louis CK DVD. Thanks Apiary (and CC insider(and Louis CK))!

I love Louis CK. Years ago,when he toured around the country he used to sell dvd’s called LOUIS CK’S COLLECTION OF SHORTS (Rick Shapiro links to one of the shorts ,”Brunch” here). I am not sure if Louis still sells the DVD or if its a collectors item. It was hilarious and if I remember correctly Todd Berry was in couple of them as well.
